Christmas Party
12/21/07 00:58
What an incredible day!
Jess had her last day of school before Christmas
break, my mom celebrated her birthday, Brian, Brooke
& Ainsley landed in Texas, my parents had their
anniversary, and Jess and I gathered with alot of
old, great friends tonight for a Christmas party.
What a blessing it was to see Willie, Emily &
Eva, Clint & Missy, all my family, Gregg &
Tammy, Chase, Wes, Randy & Wanda, Sharon, Bruce
& Pat, and Jonathan, Melissa & Blake! It was
a perfect kickoff to the holiday season. Click

Our Nephew is Born
12/18/07 07:43
Jess and I spent this
past weekend in Longview, Texas, eagerly awaiting the
birth of our first nephew. Jess' twin sister, Nicole,
and her husband, Joey, had their baby boy at 11:39
p.m. this past Sunday. Jackson Philip Kraus was born
on December 16th, sharing his dad's birthday. He
weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches
in length.
We had a blast hanging out with Joey and Nicole's family all day Sunday in the hospital waiting room, checking for updates on the delivery process ever five minutes and watching the Cowboys' horrible loss to the Eagles. When Jackson finally stepped into the world, it was a beautiful thing! An answered prayer indeed!

Christmas Explosion

I offer my deepest
apologies to my ten regular readers who have most
likely stopped checking my RSS feed as I have not
updated my blog for quite sometime. In my defense, or
excuse as it were, this is finals week and I have
been spending most of my time finishing papers and
studying for exams. With all of the reading, I kept
thinking my head just might burst.
Well, I took my final Final Exam this morning and sure enough, my head exploded and Christmas came out.
